Perfectly Placed for the Big Gig in the Park

Just down the road from the Merton in St Helier's fabulous Howard Davis Park, Sure's Big Gig in the Park is one of the biggest events in the annual island calendar, attracting thousands of people to dance and enjoy great music.

Legends in the park! Friday 14th July.

On the evening of Friday 14th July, pop legends, Kim Wilde and Holly Johnson lead the line up, supported by Five Star, Go West and Abba tribute, Bjorn Again. The evening is guaranteed to have a fantastic atmosphere as people of all ages gather to hear some classic pop guaranteed to raise a smile.

Unwind and recharge at the Merton

Having danced the night away at this spectacular family event, there's no better place to get a wonderful night's sleep than the Merton Hotel. We're just a five minute walk away and ideally situated for you to recuperate before heading back to the park on Saturday evening after spending the day relaxing around our pools, enjoying the excitement of the Aquadome or just whiling away the time in one of the Merton's six bars and restaurants.

Dance with Olly Murs on Saturday 15th July!

Saturday evening at the Big Gig sees the youngsters taking to the stage led by X-Factor veteran Olly Murs, who tops the bill ahead of another X-Factor success stories, Louisa Johnson and 5 After Midnight, as well as Britain's Got Talent veteran, Calum Scott.
