What's on in August at the Merton

Can you believe it! August already 

The Star Room has been bouncing since the beginning of the summer holidays and there's no sign of it slowing down with the acts we're welcoming this month.

If you're joining us in Jersey during August, and you're planning on dancing long into the night, you best pencil a few of these into the itinerary.

Songs that are good for the soul - Joe Harriet

Oh it's good to see you again Joe! August marks the return of one of our guest's best loved acts Joe Harriet.

Joe will be with us all month long, performing his unique blend of soul and Motown classics that are sure to get you on your feet.

Joe will be gracing The Star Room stage at 21.30 on several evenings throughout August.

Get a double dose of comedian Lee Lard

Lee Lard, one of the kings of the Merton comedy evenings is back for in August for two very special performances. His tribute to Peter Kay always gets the crowd in stitches and we can't wait to see him back on our stage.

Mr Lard will be performing on the following dates:

Ab-Ab-Ab-Ab-Abbaloo - every Wednesday night in August

Nothing gets guests on the dance floor like a good tribute act. And as far as homages to the Swedish pop icons go, Abbaloo are the best we've ever seen.

Expect to hear all the classics and a couple b-sides for the diehards! Re-string your air guitar and bring your singing voice!

Pump up the volume with Rock Rhapsody - every Friday night in August

Blow away the cobwebs after a long week and start your weekend the right way with this hour long battle of rock hits!

Expect a loud, energetic performance of songs from some of the greatest rock bands of all time including Queen, Bon Jovi, Oasis, The Killers and more.

Theatreland Showstoppers - Every Monday night in July

Who says you can't go out on a Monday in Jersey!? Pop down to the Star Room and enjoy an all-star local cast as they perform some of the best-known songs from the West End and Broadway's biggest shows.

Every Monday from 21.30.
