What's On in The Star Room in June

Can you believe it? It's June already, and with a new month comes our new nightly entertainment schedule. 

Every evening of the week during June The Star Room will host a different act, from eccentric cabaret and burlesque to floor stompin' country rockin' live music. Here's the full rundown of The Star Room action in June. 

Monday nights from 8pm

Monday night in June is cabaret night, and we'll be welcoming two of the Merton's best loved acts - Tony Gardiner (3th & 10th) and Stuart Gillies (17th & 24th) - back to The Star Room stage.

Tuesday nights from 8pm

Dig out your cowboy hat on Tuesday nights and join us for an evening of yee' harrin' floor stompin' country rockin' live music, courtesy of Rock The Country. They'll be playing all your favourite country classics to get you movin' on the dance floor.

Wednesday nights from 8pm

On Wednesdays Jersey's very own tribute to ABBA, Abbaloo, will take to their stage to perform their new show - Here They Go Again. Expect to hear all of ABBA's greatest hits, and the songs from the Mamma Mia movies.

Thursday nights from 8pm

On Thursday the Star Room takes an all-singing all-dancing tour around the world for 'World in One Night'. Expect Irish dancing, Arabian nights, Bollywood, Las Vegas and much much more. 

Friday nights from 8pm

On the 7th, 14th & 28th of June, Cool Britannia will treat Merton guests to the very best of British pop music with their high-energy musical show. 

The 21st of June will see Paula Randell take to the stage as the one, the only, Dolly Parton. Paula's 'So Dolly' show features all the classics from Dolly's famous songbook.

Saturday nights from 8.30pm 

Saturdays nights are tribute night during June. We'll welcome some of the UK's best tributes to some of the world's biggest artists, including:

Dan Hadfield as Gary Barlow - 15 June

Paula Randell as Cher - 22 June

Jacky Webbe as Diana Ross - 29 June

Sunday nights from 8pm

On Sundays enter the world of La Reve Absinthe - an eccentric cabaret show with bizarre burlesque, showgirls and mime mayhem. It's not to be missed!
