Hit the #GoWildGorillas trail in St Helier
The Durrell Conservation Trust launched their Go Wild Gorillas sculpture trail a couple of weeks ago, and it's fair to say both tourists and locals have fallen in love with the unique art installations.
The hand painted gorillas are dotted all across the island, and here in central St Helier our guests are within walking distance of some stunning specimens!
To get you started on your mission to meet all of St Helier's Go Wild Gorillas, here are five you can find just a few minutes walk from The Pomme d'Or.
What, on Earth? - Liberation Square
Head 10 metres out of our front door toward Liberation Square and you'll find this colourful chap standing proud. Designed by Cliff Wright, whose artwork featured in two of the original Harry Potter books, What, on Earth? highlights the connection between all living beings and depicts a number of the animals you can see at the Jersey Zoo.

Dynamic Hero - Royal Square
The Royal Square is a two-minute walk from The Pomme and once there you'll get to meet Dynamic Hero, a comic book-inspired Gorilla created by DC Comic's illustrator Kenneth Rocafort.

Creative Vibes - Jersey International Finance Centre
Head west along The Esplanade, past the bus station and across the junction, and you'll find yourself staring up at the impressive Jersey International Finance Centre. Head around the back and you'll meet Creative Vibes.
Mr Vibes is a vibrant silver back created by the supremely talented MrASingh.

Jungle Banana Split - Charing Cross
From the main entrance, head north along Conway Street past the Wharf Bar and take a left on Broad Street. At the end of the road you'll find Francesca Monticelli's - Jungle Banana Split.
Francesca Monticelli wanted to create a playful, bright and colourful design to attract attention, and trust us, you can't miss this beautiful fella!

Jer-Sea - French Lane
Outside the central market on French Lane you'll find Jer-Sea. This ocean-themed Gorilla is decorated with the sea life you can find all around Jersey's coast, including dolphins, shoals of mackerel and colourful anemones.
