Meet our Head Chef, Chris Morris
Our Head Chef Chris has two decades of experience, ensuring guests in our three restaurants enjoy some of the finest food you can find in Jersey.
A world class talent
Chris's skills and passion for food have led him to travel the world exploring the cuisine of different countries and cultures. Having led a restaurant team in Port Harcourt, Nigeria, cooked for royalty at the famous four red star-rated Stapleford Park Hotel in Leicestershire, and gained invaluable experience in the kitchens at London's globally renowned Brown's Hotel, Chris understands how to meet the exacting standards of some of the world's most demanding guests.
The very highest standards
At the Pomme d'Or Chris leads a team of 28 dedicated staff and manages our restaurants, ensuring that every one of our guests enjoys food of the highest standards.
Locally, Chris is renowned for his passion for seafood, and his great relationship with Jersey's fishmongers means that you'll always be sure of the finest and freshest tastes of Jersey's seas when you choose to eat at the Pomme - particularly if you join us for our famous Friday Night Seafood Buffet.
The high seas
Whilst Chris is dedicated to preparing some of the best food you'll find in Jersey, he still finds time to enjoy the delights that the island has to offer. At weekends, he likes nothing more than joining up with his sailing club to take on the challenge of sailing Jersey's incredible seas.
