Stacey McHarg-Nowak makes jump from FOH to Events Manager

It's been nearly eight years since a fresh-faced Stacey McHarg-Nowak joined The Pomme team as an ambitious receptionist. Since then her commitment has seen her move up the through the ranks of the Front of House team, eventually landing the role of Front of House Manager. 

Stacey's journey with us has been remarkable, so when looking to find the perfect replacement for our Meetings & Events manager, there was no one more suited to the position. 

What does Stacey's new role involve?

As our Meetings & Events manager, Stacey will be in charge of delivering bespoke conferences, weddings, parties and meetings for our guests and the local business community. 

She'll lead our dedicated team to ensure we provide the high quality customer service that's defined The Pomme d'Or for more than 100 years. 

Each of our venues provide flexible space for a wide range of events, and Stacey will know them like the back of her hand.

Born in Edenvale on the outskirts of Johannesburg, Stacey grew up on the east coast of South Africa in a town called Empangeni. After living and working in hospitality in Scotland, her fondness for the ocean influenced a move to the island seven years ago.

Nothing makes Stacey happier than interacting with our guests and making the best of their holiday. High on her list of recommendations are exploring the historic castles around the island and a visit to Jersey War Tunnels. Of course, with her love of the sea, taking long walks alongside Jersey’s beautiful beaches and coastline is an absolute must!
