The Pomme d'Or is perfect for rugby fans this winter
It's proving to be a tough season for Jersey Reds but relegation concerns are receding as they hold a double-digit points advantage over the bottom-placed team in the Green King IPA Championship.
The Reds' desire to climb the table won't be diminished by the fact that relegation is looking less likely and the match against Hartpury offers them a chance to beat one of their close rivals for the second time this season. However, this time they'll be looking to win by more than the single point margin they achieved in early September.
Given their proximity in the league table, fans of both teams can expect a tight and exciting match at Stade Santander, just before Christmas.
Expect a warm welcome
Jersey fans are passionate about their team and proud of the fact that they're renowned for giving a warm welcome to everyone who visits in support of their opponents. We all know what an effort visiting fans have made to get here and want to ensure that everyone has a great time.
Of course, Jersey is more than just a rugby destination: it has gorgeous unspoilt beaches, stunning countryside and a town that offers the very best in food and entertainment. So if you're a Hartpury supporter planning on visiting Jersey to support your team, make sure you come for the rugby but stay for the whole weekend!
