The Six Nations deciders live & loud at The Wharf
It's crunch time in the Six Nations! With three teams still in with a shot of taking home the title, the final day promises to serve up a decent dose of drama and delight.
Saturday also marks the final day of our Six Nations Soup deal at The Wharf Bar. All six teams will be in action back-to-back on the big screens.
Back your boys with a bowl of soup inspired by the team you love, served in a delicious bread bowl, and a pint of whatever takes your fancy. All for just £6.95
Game 1: Italy v France - 12.30
The battle of the wooden spooners! They may only be playing for pride, but leaky defences and a penchant for the unpredictable means this game will be full of running. And if it isn't? At least you'll have nabbed the best seats in the bar!
Game 2: Wales v Ireland - 14.45
The grand slam decider! Warren Gatland's final Six Nations game as Wales coach. Rory Best's final Six Nations game as Ireland's hooker. What more could you ask for? A win guarantees Wales the Six Nations title courtesy of three bonus points for the Grand Slam. But if Ireland spoil the party and get a bonus point they'll be in the driving seat. This is Six Nations drama at its very best.
Game 3: England v Scotland - 17.00
By this point on Saturday England will know if they're playing for Six Nations title, the Calcutta Cup, or both. Twickenham will be rocking no matter what. But a win for the Scots at the home of English rugby will go a long way to healing the wounds of what's been a disappointing tournament for Gregor Townsend's men. They couldn't, could they?
A proper rugby atmosphere!
The Wharf will be showing all three final weekend games back-to-back on the big screens!
We're a proper rugby pub. If you're after a lively atmosphere and commentary loud enough to hear over the whinging about the referee, The Wharf is the spot for you!
