A perfect way to indulge after a long day's Christmas shopping

This Christmas at the Pomme we have introduced something a little bit different, a little bit special, and wholesomely delicious! Introducing our all new festive Afternoon Tea at the Cafe Bar. This classic treat with a seasonal twist has been specially crafted by our head chef Wali Ul-Islam to showcase the warming flavours of winter, perfect on a crisp afternoon after a hard day’s Christmas shopping in St Helier.

Tradition with a twist

This three-tiered feast follows the traditional structure of a classic Afternoon Tea, with a selection of sandwiches, scones and sweets, all made with seasonally inspired ingredients. Each sandwich on offer embodies the flavours of the festive period, from turkey & cranberry sauce, to goat’s cheese with caramelised onion.

As well as the classic scone, you can also enjoy the addition of cranberry fruit scones, accompanied with either freshly made strawberry or apricot jam and deliciously sweet clotted cream. 

A winter Afternoon Tea would not be complete without homemade mince pies, mini meringues and spiced fruit cakes as well as fruit tarts and a rich chocolate and Cointreau ganache.

Priced from £17.50 per person, this makes our festive Afternoon Tea experience a flexible one, and is perfect for couples, trios or even groups on request. And the best bit we’ve saved for last; if a tea or coffee isn’t quite enough to fully immerse yourself into the Christmas spirit, you can upgrade to a homemade mulled wine for just £2.50 extra per person!
