Clive Kenyon's Story - 1993-2019

Our story is one of 26 years of wonderful times at the Merton for the Kenyon family. We always view the Merton as a 2nd home and we have viewed the staff as extended family. Jersey is marvellous and the Merton an ideal launchpad for many adventures.

Our children were aged 10 and 7 when we first visited and have often been with us on our 30+ holidays. We have loved every minute and enjoyed the many changes the hotel has gone through. Whilst the hotel is great and the food fantastic our memories always come back to the staff and the quality of service.

Particular favourites are Peter and David in the Belvedere together with Hamisi, Titus, Alphonse, Jane and Eugen. In the Star Room we have not only loved the entertainment but always been welcomed by Andrew and his team. Jaryd has always been a great friend on the Concierge desk. Memories of Pete Webb's walks always flood back and we meet up whenever we are back in Jersey.

The Merton and its staff are a credit to the hospitality and hotel industry. Very best wishes for your 100th anniversary from the Kenyon family
